There are few things that truly turn your day around, and the arrival of a package you've been waiting for in the mail is one of those things. I love getting a delightful package in the mail! It's almost as if when it finally shows up, you forgot you even purchashed anything. So it puts a little surprise in your day. And who doesn't love a good surprise? Today, my cute sweater from Anthropologie came that I got with the birthday gift card my gracious friends gave me. What makes it even more sweet, is that I NEVER buy anything from that amazing store, because I'm too cheap! Truly brightened my day;)
SO true! When I order stuff...I rush to the mail box and check my front porch every day. Sometimes I get pissed when it takes too long but I swear I rip those packages open so fast! My friend ripped her package open so fast one time (with her keys) and her keys hit her forehead and SHE HAD TO GET STITCHES! Ha ha ha! I guess it's just a girl thing! I'm excited to see this new sweater!

ReplyDeleteI hear ya! ...both about the package coming (it's ALMOST like the joy of free shopping, right? I mean, you paid like a week before.) and being too cheap for Anthropologie! I love that place too, but dang! lucky you, getting a gift card. :)
