Life Lately...

I've been awful at updating this blog. Truth be told, I haven't wanted to. Currently, I feel like my life is the new Adele album...not to sound dramatic. Maybe Adele and I should become friends and swap stories. On the other hand, I have so much to be thankful for and I need to remind myself of that when I start getting down. I truly have the best family and friends a girl could ever want. Not to sound ultra preachy, but I liked this quote:

"Each of us will face trials and tests, and . . . it is how we react to those difficulties that will determine our success and happiness. Each of us will face adversity no matter where we are. We are taught in the scriptures that there 'must needs be . . . an opposition in all things' (2 Nephi 2:11). We will each face times of difficulty, and the question is not when we will face them but how we face them."

On a more fun note, however, I'm going to Las Vegas with my sister this weekend!!

It's officially official!

I'm going back to my job as a scrub tech!! What a weird year it's been with my rep job... I guess I needed to see if that job was really for me, but lesson learned. Stick with what you love to do! I won't lie, the money was a little better, but certainly not life changing. I guess I should have gone with my initial instincts when I said no to that job offer at first, but I also didn't want to regret not taking a chance when an opportunity presented itself. There were just too many things I dreaded about that job and I was completely unhappy and it showed. My heart was not into it at all. So lucky for me, I'm going right back to my old job at the hospital where I work with the greatest people and some of my best friends! And in case you were wondering, yes, I did want to cry every time I watched them scrub into surgery on Grey's:) Now I won't have to anymore.

Picnik

I'm always so envious/impressed with people and their photography and editing skills...like my good friend Ashlee. She's amazing! If I could have an ounce of her talent, I'd be a happy girl. I don't know where I heard of this website, but picnik.com makes feel like I can pretend to be a photographer. It's super fun to edit photos and best of all, it's free! I feel like I'm trying to sell for them, but no, I don't want to sell anything...ever. Case in point, my current job. But that's a whole other post for a different day. It's a fun little hobby and I definitely am always in need of those. So here's a few I've played with...

You Have Stolen My Heart..

Be still my heart! I love this wreath! That title was in part due to the concert I just saw (Dashboard Confessional)...anyone?? Anyway, while my sister was down here in Utah, she, and our great friend Ashlee, and I made these stinking cute wreaths! Talk about lots of cutting out felt circles and pinning and going back several times for more felt, but we had tons of fun making them. And I couldn't wait to put it up on my door even though it's January. Hey, love is always in season!

Merry Christmas!

Chalk it up as another great Christmas! I loved being home with my family and having some time off from work to spend with them. I'm one lucky gal to have them all. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my sweet niece and nephews happy. We all had tons of fun just hanging out, eating lots of delicious food and playing...couldn't ask for anything better!
Me and Deven playing Just Dance on the Wii...super fun and look at how in sync we are:)
We even got my dad to do it, which is a miraculous feat!
Ty with his new "laptop" He's one smart boy!
Mom with her new ring...way to go dad!!
Ally girl with her cute dress up jewelry...she's definitely all girl. I can't get enough of her!
My new sweet nephew Coleson...he's such a good little baby and I'm thrilled to be an aunt once again.
No Christmas break is complete without a family bowling game. I won!!!!
Noah could bowl all day, he's adorable!

Love these girls!
Hope everyone had a great Holiday season too!:)

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year I ventured up to frigid, cold Idaho for Thanksgiving to spend it with my amazing family. I love my family and the traditions that we have and couldn't be more grateful them. I feel very blessed to have each one of them in life.

My grandparents house...half of it anyway. I have so many great memories here.

My cute Grandpa Lunceford carving the turkey.

Pie-making sisters! I made peach-raspberry & Deven made lemon meringue. So delicious!

The Lunceford girls!
I'm so glad the Holidays are here!!!
