These are the sad little remains of my driver's side window...
My car was broken into last night! AAHHH!! And on top of that, the idiots stole my car, drove it to the West side of Salt Lake (aka the ghetto!) I got a call this morning at 3:30 from the police department saying they had information about a vehicle registered in my name. Needless to say, none of this was registering in my head that early in the morning. They said they found my car in the corner of some parking lot and they were there with it (the poor little car). I needed to find a ride down there and pick it up. I can't even tell you how freaked out I was! Someone was in my car driving it around who knows where. I gratefully found a ride down there and met up with the officer and my car. There was glass everywhere and all the papers from my glove compartment were scattered here and there. The items the brilliant thieves got away with were some phone chargers and an iPod adapter. Hope they love em... So besides being a little scared, disappointed in a few choice members of society, and spending more money today than I wanted to, things worked out. I'm SO thankful they were able to find it! Things could have been much worse...
